is a lot of 2 catalogs from Christies, New York, from the early 1980's. The first catalog is titled "Nineteenth Centruy Sculpture, Art Nouveau & Art Deco" and the sales dates were March 20 - March 21, 1981 (code name Normandie, sale #5043). The second catalog is titled "Nineteenth Century Sculpture, American Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau Furniture, and Tiffany" and the sale dates were November 14-15, 1980 (code name Maize and sale # 5021). Both catalogs have the price list showing the actual prices realized. Both catalogs include numerous photos, some in color. The 1981 sale includes furnishings from the ocean liner "Normandie" as well as many works by Sue et Mare, E.J. Ruhlmann, Jean Dunand, Daum, Galle, R. Lalique, Steuben, Handel, TIffany, Durand, and many pages of items from Tiffany Studios. The 1980 sale includes pottery from Greuby, Teco, Newcomb College, Tiffany Studios, and Rookwood. It also includes furniture by Stickley, Greene and Greene, Frank Lloyd Wright, Majorelle, and many others.These catalogs are in good condition - some of the pages are loose as the glue in the binding has deteriorated.
