This auction is for another group of 3 wooden, hand carved and painted duck decoys. Vintage, and part of a collection. I will have more of these on ebay shortly. These three seem to me to be more of what a "true" decoy might be. The previous group of 4 that I have on ebay are much more colorful and unique, while these appear to have actually been used as decoys! I'm not sure of the types of ducks these are, or the manufacturer, as I'm not an expert on decoys. The largest one is about 15" long, and about 4" wide. He stands 8" tall. His head is slightly loose, and he has a tiny crack running the length of his bottom. The middle sized one with the red head is 15" tall, and about 5" wide, standing 6" tall. He is in good condition, no chips or cracks. The smallest one is about 11" long, 4" wide, and stands 6" tall. He appears to be a standard type decoy that would be used for hunting, as he has a small metal hook on his front bottom where small rope would be used to keep him with the rest of the decoys in the water. All very nice collector pieces, not quite as colorful as my other set on right now, but nice nonetheless! Thanks for looking and please ask questions if you have any for me.
