The Attic - That special place to put strange, old, unused things that are too cool to throw away. Fiber Art Studio clearing out cobwebs from the past . These are vintage and antique laces, fabric and embellishments. As any quilter knows, it is hard to throw away a scrap of fabric if it is pretty. And these are so, so pretty. This fabric requires an artist who likes to work with small cuts. Many of the pieces are an odd shape and when that is the case an estimate of the largest rectangle to fit inside the shape is given. All measurment is in inches. All of the fabric is in strong, good condition unless otherwise noted. Baby Pink China Silk Edwardian - 10 X 19, good shape Heavy Silk Metallic Jacquard, Edwardian, silver on white, odd shape, 5 X 8++. More ball gown fabric; a beautiful mat satin with heavy silk threads. Colbalt Blue Lace Net - 9 X 17, cotton net with rayon embroidered flowers. Tight floral pattern. Black Silk Rayon Velvet - 4 X 24, 1930's 100% Silk Velvet Strips - (3) 4 X 27, 3 X 27, 4 X 17.5, dusky eggplant, soft, nice. 100% Silk Velvet Edwardian - 8 X 12+. Brilliant fucshia. This silk velvet is a different kind of animal completly. Rather than a soft drape, it is tightly woven with a crisp, almost taffeta like quality with a very short pile.
