Lot of 4 Vintage Sterling Silver Charms Enamelled Travel Shields Description For an auction lot of 4 vintage sterling silver charms enamelled travel shields:Plymouth,Dartmoor,Wells Next The Sea,Cleethorpes. All are marked for silver,Plymouth charm is made by Ward Brothers, hallmarked for Birmingham,1964.Weight in total approx 5g.Condition as per photos,good,for measurements see picture next to ruler.Please,view the super-sized pictures for details and feel free contact me if you have any questions before bidding! British hallmarking law does not require individual silver items weighing less than 7.8 grams to be hallmarked and it would be very unusual for a silver charm to even approach this weight. All my charms are cleaned from tarnish to make them wearable again and all are silver colour unless are enamelled (will be mentioned in description). Tarnish doesn’t show the real age of charms. If you would like 'black' antique looking charms, keep them next to the boiled egg overnight. If you would like shiny silver ‘good as new' charms look, please, get them professionally cleaned.
