3 Vintage/Antique Full Apron Sewing Patterns On Sunday night our auction for three vintage full bib apron patterns will end. These are authentic vintage patterns. The first pattern is Simplicity 4868. It fits over the shoulder; it ties in the back, and it has a front pocket. The front section is cut in three separate pieces. The drawing for the envelope displays the front and back of the apron, and the model has seams on her stockings. The pieces for this pattern and the instructions are all included, but the envelope has been torn, and the back is completely missing. The second pattern is marked size large, and it is also a full bib pattern with a full button back and ties. It has two side pockets and straps that extend over the shoulders. This is pattern 3748 from American Weekly Patterns. The instructions and all but one of the pattern pieces are included. This pattern is missing the piece to cut the tie in the back. This could be easily constructed since this is a rectangular piece. The third pattern is a full bib apron with shoulder straps. This pattern was intended to be made from feed sacks. It has a full back that buttons and ties in the back. It has heart-shaped pockets, and all of the pieces and the instructions except the heart-shaped pocket pattern are included, but several pattern pieces were torn and are included read more
