Offered for sale is a U.S. release of LOU DONALDSON - ALLIGATOR BOGALOO. Album is identifed as Blue Note 4263, this is a later re-issue. A jazz funk classic from alto blowin' leader sweet Lou from 1967. Tremendous band includining organist Lonnie Smith. Leo Morris is the drummer, Melvin Lastie, Sr. on cornet, and a young George Benson on electric guitar. This album offers more than just soul/jazz or funk/jazz, check out Lou's three compositions ; "The Thang", "Rev. Moses", and the title track. Both the vinyl and cover are in still SEALED condition.
