This is a gorgeous antique doll chemise or underslip for your bisque or other doll. It is made of ecru cotton, wide round neckline, pinch pleats on waist, flared out at hemline and trimmed in fancy mesh lacework, pintucked rows run along bottom of chemise, machine and hand-stitches, fastens up in back with mother of pear button closure, good condition for age, small hole on bodice, a few spots commensurate with the age of the garment, a small tear in lace at hem as shown in the photo. Measures 13" long which includes lace hem, 6" across armpits laying flat, 1 3/4" across the arm holes, 6 1/4" across waist laying flat, 11" around neck when fastened with button, 11 1/2" along waistline.
