This auction is for a Lovely Antique White Ironstone Sauce or Gravy Tureen with a notched lid made in the mid to late 1800s by J&G Meakin of Staffordshire England.The Set is in Very Good Condition, especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks or damage in the tureen or the lid. There is fine, even under-the-glaze crazing as expected from ironstone of this era.The set measures 8 1/2 inches long with its two handles, 5 1/2 inches wide, and 6 1/4 inches tall including the lid finial.The tureen has a J&G Meakin Ironstone China Royal Coat of Arms backstamp.Check out my other items !I am selling other Antique white ironstone items and will combine shipping whenever possible.I charge actual shipping and will send this either by USPS Priority Mail or by FedEx Ground, whichever is less expensive.
