LOVELY PAIR of VINTAGE WALNUT CHURCH PEW HYMNAL RACKS This auction is for a pair of vintage walnut church pew hymnal racks. The racks are 36" long, 2" deep and 7.5" tall. The book rack portion of each one is 24" long. T are six communion cup holes in each rack, three in each end. The racks have t heir original walnut finish. These hymnal racks are very old, but are in very good condition with the normal amount of scratches, bumps and bruises expected for pieces of this age. These racks work nicely for displaying pretty plates or for a book or magazine rack. You could fit the communion cup holes with glass candle holders (the kind of that normally fit into a chandelier) and fill with votive candles or flowers. Or use tapered candles in the holes or pairs of country candles attached by the wicks.
