Please see more photos below: A lovely group of three vintage ladies powder compacts. A large Art Deco lacquered brass engine turned design Vogue Vanities compact with a diameter of 3.7 ins (95 mm). The inner lid has the Vogue Vanites trademark. The compact is in very good untarnished condition free from damage with all hinges and fastening catches working well and the mirror is clean and untarnished. A 1960's Stratton scallop edged Mother of Pearl compact with a diameter of 2.5 ins (64 mm). The compact has the original inner mesh and puff (used), the inner lid has the Stratton logo and just below the mirror is the Reg'd Design Number 895112. It is in good vintage condition free from damage (inner lid catch slightly temperamental) and the mirror is clean and untarnished. A small square Yardley & Co Ltd ' Platinum Finish ' compact with a width of 2.1 ins (53 mm). It has the original box, puff and inner tissue paper with Yardley & Co Ltd, 33 Old Bond St, London on a sticker. The box has 7/2 in pencil on one corner (probably the original selling price). The compact also contains a full refill of compressed 'Cameo' powder with Yardley London impressed into the powder.The compact has highly polished white metal finish with a yellow metal floral design inset into the top.
