This pair of elegant wall sconces/wall lights, date from the early 1930s, have been fashioned in the Regency Style and originate from France. The wall sconces are made from solid bronze and are in great condition with a wonderful aged patina. Each sconce has an ornate backplate which is decorated on the top and bottom with a fluted and crested design. At the end of each scrolled arm sits a very elegegant sconce decorated with small embossed leaves. The drip trays are decorated with a very ornate beading, unusually on the underside and on the top. These lovely sconces are very stylish and ornate and would add elegance to any room. I do hope I have managed to capture all their lovely detail in the photographs.
