This is a cute, old little walnut box - which was probably a snuff box - or cigarette case for little old fashioned size cigarettes. It would make a nice little box for display or holding business card. It is nicely made and has a nice patina to the wood - with a lovely concealed hinge in the lid. Sadly over time it has had a wee knock to one corner as seen in my third photo - but like me it's an old piece! This little loss is reflected in my good starting price. Internal dimensions: 7.5 cm x 5 cm - with about 1 cm in depth.
