This is a lovely set of four sterling teaspoons in the elegant Art Nouveau "Violet" pattern, which was patented by Whiting in 1905. Each spoon measures 5-7/8" long and weighs .75 troy ounces. They are in near-mint condition, and have never been engraved. They could use a bit more polish, but I will leave that to the new owner. The spoons are marked on their reverse with Whiting's old trademarks, "Sterling", "Pat. App. For" and "M". Any black spots are merely reflections. They are a fine set and would make a lovely gift!
