Lowell Davis Figurine - Women's Work This Lowell Davis chicken figurine was issued in 1982 and retired in 1988. It is from my personal collection and is in excellent condition, no chips or scratches!!!This porcelain figurine is 1-1/2" tall x 2-1/2" wide. The piece is signed & stamped 1982 Lowell Davis was an American artist and sculptor who lived on a farm in rural southwest Missouri. He painted and sculpted the farm and its animal residents to capture the way of life America used to be. His sense of humor was apparent in his pieces. Hi Girls! the Name's Big Jack Piece is 5" LONG x 3 1/2" WIDE x 4 1/2" TALL It is signed, dated 1982 & numbered 981 / 2500 It is in excellent condition, no chips or scratches!!! I am selling the 2 pieces together!!! A Short Biography of Lowell Davis The Beginning: In the 1930's, the country was a very different place. People helped each other whenever they could. People had a much more basic ideology that allowed them to look at life in more simplistic terms.
