About me: I have been a member on Ebay for about a year now and I've been buying many different types of antiques on Ebay, private auctions, and estate sales. I am now in the process of opening up an antique furniture and decorative arts store and I overstocked a little so now I am selling some very beautiful and extremely rare antiques and items on Ebay. All-Around VICTORIAN GERMAN FIGURAL GROUP depicting a lavish aristocratic post dinner party. The composition is truly unique was you can see the group from any angle and still have a different glimpse into the life of any of the characters. T are two couples, dressed lavishly, in wonderful detail. The clothing that they are wearing is depicted wonderfully; the master artist defies his porcelain medium and creates the effect of true wrinkled layers. Comprising the central axis is a table that holds wine napkins, gilted, then on the layer of the table is a large garland of colorful flowers framing a large vase of colorful fruits. Then stands a violin player into his craft, capturing the true essence of the moment that the artist has captured. Today, though the clothing has changed, the same type of entertainment is available and this scene truly transcends time and holds for centuries. The wonderful time and good mood of the couples is one that anyone would aspire for. T is excellent gilted designs and a geometric gilted design around the circumference of the base and raised flowers on the floor. The piece depicts true talent a beauty and is a real conversation stopper. MUST HAVE MUST SEE, for true collectors! It is hard to find a 19th century figurine as large as this one.
