Hello Model Horse Collectors! For auction is a saddle set by Robyn McCrae of Strawberry Hill Designs in New Zealand! (/strawberryhill_designs/). I had this set made for me in August and only got to show it once so far- 3rd and 6th a class of over 18 entries!!! It was made specifically for Breyer's Tregoyd Journeyman. The saddle will fit other models, but you will need to have another girth for the set to make it stay on correctly. I would suggest going to Robyn's website to purchase another girth or bridle to make the set fully ajustable for other models, she has some very reasonable prices. Sadly, I wanted to keep it for showing as I just got it, but I need a little quick cash to make some payments so unfortunately it's got to go. I intend on purchasing another from her in the spring as this set is truly a beautiful set and I didn't want to let it go! Very highly detailed! It even smells like a real saddle! The leather on this set is very fine and the buckles realistic, but be aware, this is a delicate set and you will probably need tweezers to adjust buckles and keepers- I do most the time but someone might be better at tacking up than myself. :) T is a small black mark on one of the leathers but it can be adjusted to hide it if it is a flaw- I'm don't know if it is though.
