Brian Baker's Déj� Vu Collection "Places that bring back memories" Note: Over the next few months I'll be liquidating nearly 500 pieces of Brian Baker's artwork including limited editions, autographed/hand-signed pieces, and numerous "accessory" pieces that were designed to compliment others or to display in groupings. All pieces are from my own private collection, the majority of pieces are still in their original boxes with certificates of authenticity. Only a few pieces were previously displayed either at gift or trade shows and some in my own home and will be noted as such in the auction(s). In addition to his artwork, I'll also be selling some of the sculpting tools used by Brian, some of his artist proofs, various memorabilia, brochures, catalogs and collector magazines featuring his artwork. Kittens, puppies, birds/parrots, a rabbit, and even an adorable Bassett Hound in the doorway. Ralph's "Pet Shop on Main Street" (style #99802) is a retired piece and one of Brian Baker's last pieces (c. 2000) that he produced from his Déj� Vu Collection . Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is included. As with all of Brian's artwork it is individually cast and handpainted, intricately detailed and has his trademark "hidden umbrella". This delightful collectible is made of resin, has a hook for hanging and two small felt "buttons" on the back to protect the wall. It was inspired by Brian's many worldwide travels and personal experiences. Pet Shop on Main Street is a really fun and colorful piece with lots of detail and irresistable pets waiting to go home with you! Brian only produced 5000 of Pet Shop on Main Street and this is hand-numbered #260. This Limited Edition is in excellent condition as it was never displayed - only stored in its original box. Colors are beautiful and vibrant! A very nice piece of Brian Baker's artwork for both the collector and non-collector alike! In gift / giveable condition. No reserve and a great low starting bid so you can have fun bidding! ;-) Measurements (Approximate): 7.50" tall x 4" wide How I Determine Age & Condition of Items: The vast majority of items I sell are either from my personal collections or from [recent] estate sales and have been previously owned. I'm one of those hardcore, fuddy-duddy believers that an item has to be at least 100 years old to earn the distinction of "antique". Anything less than 100 years old (but at least 10-20 years old) is vintage. I rarely refer to an item's condition as "mint", since once again, I'm one of those hardcore, fuddy-duddy believers, that any used or previously owned item has most likely been handled to some degree unless proven otherwise. If I find anything to be less than "very good/excellent condition", I will always note any visible signs of wear/use or flaws that I can see with the naked eye.
