An original small elephant moneybox designed by Luigi Colani for Dresdner Bank, 1963 Red ABS plasticSigned Dresdner Bank on the underside Measures 8.5 cms long by 7 cms high. In excellent condition, with only very minor traces of use. The Berlin-born designer is renowned for his dynamic yet quirky organic furniture and industrial design. High profile commissions include Alfa-Romeo, Lancia, Volkswagen, BMW, Villeroy and Boch, Boeing, Rosenthal and NASA.
