For your consideration today is this work attributed to Martinez Pedro, Luis Martinez Pedro, Cuban Artist. It is signed and dated Abril 1956. I see an image of the World Cup Trophy but not sure they were using this trophy style in 1956. I also imagine some variation of the Cuban flag at the top of the work of art. This is an oil on thick paper board. It measures 22" x 28". The signature is located in the lower right quadrant of the work. As stated there is water damage(stain) to the paper in the upper left corner but it does not detract much from the image itself and there is not any damage to the paint from the water.
