M-7 Rock Island Bayonet & M-10 Scabbard Up for bid today is a genuine Rock island Arsenal M7 Bayonet and M-10 Scabbard. The blade is in excellent condition. It does not appear to have seen any use except for being pulled out of its scabbard. The bayonet still has the phosphate surface coating intact, and does not appear to have been sharpened since it came from the factory. T are no nicks in the blade and the point is still factory sharp. As you can see from the pictures, the handle still has its original glossy shine and the rifle attachment mechanism is also in perfect working order.
