Fresh from the attic, a WWII M1 helmet, front seam, fixed bail helmet with sewn on chinstraps. The sweatband is present but hte leather is starting to crack. THe liner suspension is khaki and the A clips are the early steel, not painted brass. Also has a khaki nape strap with steel snaps. Liner is marked "F" for Firestone. The shell has original khaki chinstrap, a little frayed around the fixed bails but not close to coming off. Also has the leather chinstrap, also a bit used. Winning bidder agrees to pay shipping of $14.00.
