I am not an expert on Bayonets and specifically American ones but goes. This appears to be (according to a quck Google search) a Garand Bayonet with a 16 inch blade. T are the following markings stamped on the blade: Side 1; OL (Oneida), over US (with a flaming grenade between the U and S), over 1942. Side 2: this is a partial stamp, looks like a cog or a gear of some type. Bayonet Scabbard: Large flaming Grenade with US inside. The Bayonet and scabbard are in used condition, small chip at tip of scabbard, otherwise what I assume to be normal wear, the bayonet handle is bakelite I think and t is normal wear and one hairlin crack on one side , t has been some surface staining of rust but no pitting, very little finish on blade, cannot tell if it was parkerized or blued. Has seen some sharpening but very little, no dents or dings. Overall I would say it is in good used condition.
