M1 Garand Bayonets. Two bayonets, two scabbards . Condition is Used. One bayonet appears to be nickel-plated, a dress bayonet, if you will. The scabbard is the flaming ball with “U.S.” inside. I think the dress scabbard was white, if memory serves. The dress bayonet is a U.C, with the flaming ball in between a U.S. directly below (see photos). The scabbard is the flaming ball with “U.S.” inside. The second bayonet is what appears to be a matched bayonet and scabbard, both marked E-US. Both bayonets are old, but I cannot specifically date them. Study the photographers carefully, and you will know them pretty much as well as I do.
