M1 Garand CMP American Black Walnut Stock Set w/ Metal, almost NEW Stock is in very nice condition only used just briefly. The left side has CMP logo stamped in the wood. A very nice example of a CMP M1 Garand American black walnut stock set, both the handguards are a good match to the stock. The wood was actually made by Boyds Stocks for the CMP and is fashioned after the Garand stocks of WWII in that there is no bulges in the wood. or wood hanging way over the metal parts, as there are in many other commercial types of M1 Garand stocks. I took the Garand action out of this stock which, like I said, came on a Service Grade Special Garand so you would better understand its orgin. The CMP is putting these new stock sets on quite a few of their SA & HRA Garands. Some slight handling marks on the outside from the CMP armorers and such. I have been extremely careful not to add to these myself. There are also slight marks made from the clamping a Garand action into the stock for a brief period of time. Includes all stock metal and both handguards, but does not include the lower band & pin as that is part of the barrel assembly. Please view all pictures and bid accordingly! Thank You for looking!
