19" spear point blade with three fullers. Marked at ricasso on one side with an eagle and N.P. Ames, Springfield; on the reverse United States and dated 1835. Fish-scale brass handle and crossguard. Leather scabbard with brass tip and throat. With brown buff leather belt and brass US buckle. Condition: Blade is excellent retaining most of the original burnished finish. Brass has a nice patina. Leather scabbard is excellent.
