An extremely rare pre-WW2 designed jacket which was the forerunner to the M1941 jacket. These jackets differed mainly in having flapped pockets and no shoulder straps. The cut is slightly snugger and the lining is heavier. Some were made in Bird cloth, this is poplin like an M41. The collar wore through at some time post-war and has had a thin piece of pig skin added. The cuffs have been repaired, the zip is the original TALON The PFC stripes are WW2, the !st division badge is handmade-possibly in England judging by the style The jacket is 38 inch chest
