"Dale" was released in early 2007 showing only in major NASCAR markets. The film is a collaboration between NASCAR Media and CMT, and was released to DVD. Motorsports Authentics released a set of 12 cars in conjunction with the movie. These cars represent various important dates and cars in Dales life. This particular car is the 1994 Lumina that Earnhardt raced at Charlotte on October 9, 1994. The car also comes with a collectors card with reflections from Chocolate Myers: "Charlotte...we had a decent day but not real good. We were in the lead lap and then with around 10 laps to go the caution flag comes out and Richard [Childress] comes on the radio and says "stay out t and well get a good Top 10 finish." Dale said, "I didnt come for a Top 10...I came to win...get four tires ready Im comin in."...We were the only car that pitted...we didnt look like we had a chance but we never gave up. We came in third t..it was a real team effort - 100% nobody meant any more or any less...he wanted it more...we came to win."
