Rarely found on ebay, is a MAC knife, used but in great condition. Acquired from an estate, this piece is one of MAC's Original Series Knives. It is a lightweight "deba style" cleaver for heavier tasks. Made from a rust-resistant Japanese high-carbon steel, it has an ergonomic upswept handle for better knuckle clearance and natural cutting angle. Rounded tip for safety. Although they do not recommend this be put in the dishwasher, I think this knife might have been since the wood handle is slightly rough. It is still very tight, so it could be oiled and sanded slightly, if desired. The blade is sharp and in great condition except for scratches from sharpening. T are a couple of very tiny dings that can easily be honed out. Blade measures 6-1/2", overall length is 11-3/4". Great professional Japanese knife at a Great price!!
