This listing is for a collectible and fine-quality 1st edition Victoria & Richard MacKenzie-Childs MacLachan thistle trinket or dresser box ~ it is dated 1990! The box measures 5 1/4" x 4" x 4" and has a Courtly Check rim with gold accents, and the finial on the lid is a thistle. The sides depict scenes of the Cayuga Lake countryside in Aurora, New York, on the grounds of the MacKenzie-Childs factory design center! The piece is in excellent condition; no cracks, chips, crazing, stains, wear or repairs ~ the photos show the piece from all sides including a closeup of the base marking. This piece is a fabulous estate find ~ it will display beautifully and make a wonderful addition to your MacKenzie-Childs collection!
