Thank you for visiting my listing. This auction is for a custom set of 3 die-cast models that are custom built, handmade 1/64 scale models, using the hot wheels falcon as a starting point. They represent 3 of the iconic vehicles from Mad Max 2( The Road Warrior)they will each come in a customized display case that has some very nice art work. Allof these feature rubber tires, and very detailed wheels. These have a ton of detail, and accuracy, look at all the pictures closely. These are the HD versions ( High Detail ), featuring more movie correct details, rims, tires, weathering ect... The first model is the Black on Black Interceptor , showing how the former MFP interceptor has evolved in a wasteland survival vehicle, this version if after the crash into the rear Landau, showing the damage in the front,. The rear trunk was removed, the 2 large fuel tanks installed, the two jerry cans, and spare tire as well. This features a slightly different blower set up, side pipes (zoomies) from the first movie version ,along with a different set of rear wheels and rubber tires. The interior only has the driver’s seat inside, along with a metal roll bar; this is also weathered to try and capture the exact look of the car.The blower is coming up through the hood, not glued on the top, but actually sitting in the opening that was cut open. Please look at the pictures for more. The metal side pipes have been drilled out for greater detail and a more realistic overall appearance on this version. The second model is the famous Landau that chases Max in the begginging of the movie. This is still the most challenging model to built in 1/64 scale, It has the correct metal front bumper from a buick, a custom rear bumper like the one seen in the movie,scaled down turbo set up that has the pipes going into the holes on the hood, hand built metal side pipes that go into the fender port holes for them, not glued on the surface, actually hand drilled port holes that each pipe go into , real mesh grill in the front, custom built tail light panel in the rear, front end (fenders and hood) re-shaped to match the real details of the Landau , rear quarter windows re-shaped, simulated vinly top, spare tyre on trunk, dual rear wheel set up along with fender arches made of metal rod. Again look at all the pictures, there are so many details on these little works of art, i may have forgotten some. The third model is the Red XA bat car we see a lot of towards the end of the movie with the tanker chase. This features all of the custom details the movie car has, custom front end, metal velocity stacks in the hood opening, hand painted mural on hood- no decals to fall off, hand built metal side exhaust pipes, the fender wells are modified and enlarged like the movie car, the ride height is adjusted as well, rear dual tire set up, rear diamond plate rear bumper, custom rear wing, again look at the pictures, i may have forgot a detail here and there. As a bonus!!! When all three cases are stacked up, on the back side of them will be a picture from the cover art of the first Mad Max movie, a reminder of how it all started. Keep in mind these are done by built hand, one at a time, not mass produced, but carefully created for the serious collector and fan. Details such as ride height, tire and wheel size, and weathering where all referenced from movie clips and stills, these are the most detailed versions yet, more vehicles to come soon from the Mad Max movies. This is the only set like this in the world, a true work of ART, and the prices these sell for reflect that, these should be displayed, and not played with . These three one off customs will come in a custom display boxes for you to store and show them off. The cars are not attached to the base, that way you can display then however you want.
