Presented for auction is this Madame Alexander doll from the 1950's (my own childhood). She measures about 16" tall. There is a mark on the back of her neck that is a circle with the letters Mme at the top of the circle and Alexander at the bottom and in the middle it shows 19(C)1958. Her body and face are soft plastic (vinyl? rubber?). Her eyes are brown and blink. Her arms, legs and head move. Her hair has been "styled" and would need some attention but it is secure. She has a hole in her butt so was probably a wetter. She also has hole in the in the middle of her back. Don't know why that would be. I washed her up but she would need a little more attention to be perfectly clean. She's been residing in my attic for the last 50 years.
