Madame Alexander Doll "Scotland" from the International Series issued in 2001 & I believe retired in 2002. She is style #28550 and stands 8" tall. She comes in her original box which is in good condition but it does have some creases on the lid and the lid is pushed in slightly; a white mark where the price sticker was removed (see pictures). Structurally the box is in very good condition. She was owned by an adult collector but never removed from her box. She was stored in a smoke free home in a climate controlled doll closet. I am selling many of my dolls due to lack of space. She is wearing a blue plaid costume which represents a particular group of Scottish people, but unfortunately I am not familiar with the history. She has beautiful red curly hair and blue eyes that open and close freely. Her tam, bagpipes and history card are all enclosed in the protective bag.She is one of the cutest international dolls ever made by the doll company. She is also the only Scottish doll ever made that includes bagpipes & a card with a bit of the country's history. Her value in the 2010 Madame Alexander Collector Price Guide by Linda Crowsey is $65.00 .I have other Madame Alexander dolls listed and I am happy to combine shipping, charging $3.20 for an additional 8" doll and $3.30 for a 10" doll; a nice savings. Thanks for looking and please contact read more
