Madame Alexander 8" round brown face WENDY labeled "BALI" costume is complete in mint condition-beautifuleyes stick, NO hangtag, possibly folded-down box (check additions at end of auction). 1996 Please read all the rules for this pre-owned collection below before bidding About this collection: I am selling a small collection of vintage dolls (about 25-30) which range in date from the early 1990’s to about 1998. I’m listing them in 3 groups of about 8-9 dolls on September 13th, 18th and 20th. It an unusual collection of rather rare costumes that were only made for a year or two (a very discriminating collector). They are mostly international dolls and include some highly sought after dolls like Pakistan, Lapland and Tibet. All dolls will listed at a starting price of 99¢. Maximum combined shipping charge is $8.00 by Fedex ground ($100 insurance). All boxes ship flat. Please do not pay your invoice unless you are totally finished bidding and want your dolls shipped. I will sent an invoice when you click the button to request an invoice. If you pay for your doll(s) before you are finished bidding, I will ship your doll(s) and you can no longer receive the combined shipping. I will hand figure your combined shipping- ignore what the calculator says- it's usually wrong. Any overpayments of shipping will be promptly refunded. I will only ship boxes with dolls and/or stands by specific request- you do not need to pay for shipping on dolls stands if you prefer not to have them. DOLL STRINGING -These dolls appear to have either been displayed behind glass or have been stored in their boxes. About a 1/3 of them need restringing which I will do before listing these dolls. Other dolls still have their stringing intact. I will restring any dolls with bands that are obviously going to break in shipment but I will not be responsible for dolls with bands that break in transit. Most doll shops will restring these dolls for about $5.00. If you collect these dolls, you should really learn to restring them yourself -it’s not hard and it’s one of the maintenance chores that goes along with collecting. DOLL EYES Most of these dolls from the 1992-96 period have sleep eyes which stick and have to manually be opened and closed. Since all the dolls made have this problem, it does not affect their value. Dolls after about 1997 have the eye opening cut larger and those dolls have eyes which function fine. BOXES Most of these dolls have boxes which have been flattened incorrectly for storage- inside supports bent. A few have torn corners or have been badly folded down. The earliest boxes from the 1990’s have names that have faded and are unreadable so the box for your doll may not still have her name on it. Please ask about an individual doll’s box if boxes are of great concern to you. The lids have been stacked separately from the boxes, so I can not guarantee that the color of the lids will exactly match the color of the boxes, but I have many boxes from this period so I’ll do my best to acommodate you. CONDITION & COMPLETENESS OF OUTFITS-HANGTAGS These dolls have been treated with great care by their previous owner and all look in “like new” “never undressed” condition. But t are always issues on vintage dolls. None of the clothes are faded, yellowed, washed, torn, dirty, dusty, or spotted unless I specifically point that out. T may be accessories that are missing, such as a hat or a piece of jewelry, which i will also point out if i have knowledge of it. Many of these dolls will have elastic in the hat chin straps which has become loose and stretched. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions or do some research on the doll if you have any doubts about the completeness of the outfit. If the hangtag is in the picture then you will receive the hangtag on the doll.
