MADAME ALEXANDER IRELAND 578 From 1981 This is a preowned Madame Alexander Ireland 8 inch doll, Number 578, From 1981 in NEAR MINT condition. This doll was handled very little and was only displayed in a glass case. My mother-in-law collected Madame Alexander dolls and she passed away last year. They have been given to me to sell. The original rubber bands were deteriorating. I have had all of the dolls I am listing restrung with the recommended latex rubber replacement bands. This auction includes the doll, all original clothing, all original tags, and the original labeled box. This eight inch Ireland doll is one of Madam Alexander's International Dolls. She is wearing a green dress with a white lace trimmed apron and green flowered shawl. She wears a white lace bonnet. She wears a white laced slip and pantyloons and has white socks and black gold studded shoes. Her red hair is worn in a mary jane style flip. She has green eyes that open and close. I know very little about Madame Alexander dolls and I've only done a little research to determine the names and dates. The condition stated is my judgment and I have no expertise in classifying them.
