This is an absolutely gorgeous piece. It is intricately designed with both detail and color. It is marked "Occupied in Japan" on the bottom of the tea kettle. It has a dragon on one side with his body being finished on the other side...as you can see in the picture. It is a raised design giving it an awesome texture. It is colored in a smoky balck trim...and has a gold handle and trim. T are no chips, cracks or breaks in this piece. T a few small spots (on the trim) w the black has been very slightly scuffed. You have to look really hard to see these spots. The picture does nothing for the beauty of this piece. It measures 8 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches wide. This is definately a beautiful piece to add to your decor!! In order to insure the best possible price on shipping...the charge will be assessed by the location of the buyer. Please understand that this piece is coming from the East Coast, so it will cost less to those that are closest to me. I have had some problems with shipping so insurance must be added as well as delivery confirmation. I always wrap my items in extra bubble wrap and extra shipping material so that we can do our very best to get the item to you safely. If t is a problem with the shipment...(ie) lost or damaged please contact me within 24 hours of confirmed delivery and I will forward the paperwork to you.
