This was inventory from my Mother's retail store that was closed years ago. Items have been stored and I am now trying to sell them. This is what I know about this piece. This is a beautiful jar, with an inner lid and then an outer dome lid. The design is of purple violets and green leaves all outlined in gold. I do not know it's exact age, but it is old. It measures 5 3/4" tall and approximately 4" across at it's widest point. It is in excellent condition without chips, cracks or repairs. The makers mark on the bottom is a blue green shield with a K and Made in Japan. I would appreciate any info anyone has as to the maker of this piece and what is what used for. Thank you for looking.
