Made In Occupied Japan MG Dark Brown Vintage Teapot Wonderful dark brown vintage tea pot marked," Made in Occupied Japan," and "MG". The piece is in excellent-very good condition with a few spots of loss to the gold trim and what I like to call "age spots," in the glaze. There are two rough spots on the underside rim of the lid. I'm not sure if these are small chips or if this occurred in production. There is also a rough spot on the edge of the lid that appears to be bubbled glaze, and a dimple in the pottery itself - also done during production.
