Offered is a wonderful set of vintage Madeira organdy linen napkins and placemats. They were most likely made by the famous Imperial Linen Company in Madeira Portugal. The Round placemats / Doily's feature scalloped edging and painstakingly detailed reverse appliqué flowers. The napkins are square and also feature the beautiful scalloped edge with one corner falling into the same dainty pattern as the placemats. T are four placemats and four napkins. The napkins measure 16 1/2 X 15 1/2" and the place mats measure 14' X 14 1/2". They have been freshly laundered and ironed. No holes, stains or odors. The placemats will be folded in half and mailed in a USPS flat rate envelope to save shipping charges. They would make a perfect wedding or bridal shower gift.
