MAGNIFICENT LARGE C1880 JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL BIRDS IN LANDSCAPE LIDDED VASE AMAZING LARGE CLOISONNE NO RESERVE ESTATE AUCTION Hi everyone, thanks for having a look at my auctions. Listed this week is a Amazing Large Asian Cloisonne Collection. If you have been watching my auctions over the past couple weeks you would have already seen some of the great items that have already sold from the collection. This is a really great auction, you just never see fresh from estate collections like this come up for auction these days, and mostly with No Reserves! There are many items listed I do not know a great deal about , so I am sure there are some really great treasures to be found! Mark Your Calendars, this auction ends the evening of Sunday April 21st Up for auction is a Very Fine c1880 Japanese Meiji Period Bird Scenic Cloisonne Enamel Lidded Vase. The Vase is by far one of the finest and most beautiful Japanese Cloisonne enamel pieces I have personally seen. The Vase has a unique and rarely seen pink enamel background, along with an intricately detailed silver wire bird figural and landscape scenic design all around. The Vase is also has finely detailed designs to the rims, lid, and top finial. The Vase also has a nice old patina to the gilt bronze mounts. I cannot see any makers marks on the vase which most period examples like this were never signed. The Vase shows some light wear to the mounts and some tiny original kiln imperfections, but is overall in very fine original condition with no chips, dints, cracks, holes, or repairs. The Vase is also one of the Largest size examples I have seen and is a Truly Beautiful and Impressive display piece measuring 17-1/4 inches tall by 7-1/2 inches wide across the shoulder.
