Timberline Art knives have little real competition for quality. What you don't see is the fine edge of this blade. The flakes on this piece run in one set from the edge to the center, and did not have to be reworked into a clumsy cutting surface. Other sellers who claim to "rival FOG knappers" are mistaken. Take a close look and you will see that I achieve a thinner than paper edge. This so-called competition leaves their edges thick and bulky making it difficult to cut just about anything. My blades are sharp and can easily skin and dress an animal of whatever size. Therefore the cutting surfaces of my blades are authentically closer to the edgework of our ansestors. This is a 9 1/2" deer jaw/teeth handle obsidian knife up for bid. The mahogany obsidian Blade is done in a Bowie clip point style. This knife is sharp thin and straight.
