This auction is for a nice and unique Hall, Side, Lamp or Bedside Table from Scotland. It would also make a wonderful plant stand. It's made out of Solid Mahogany, there are no veneers in this table. The combination of pretty "turned post" supporting the tabletop from the shelf with pretty "bobbin style" legs on teardrop feet is very pretty. It has a solid mahogany beveled edge top as well as the shelf has a beveled edge. It has a double stretcher base and is quite sturdy. It's very pretty and in good overall condition. It would add charm & interest wherever you set it. It has some scratches and dings, but it doesn't have any burns or water rings on the top. It is 15 7/8" X 15 7/8" and 29" tall. the shelf is 14 1/2" X 14 1/4", It's 10 3/8" between the top and shelf and the shelf is 17 3/4" off the floor. It has some light blemishes to the finish, dings and scratches as would most tables of this ones age and travels. This is a unique and cute style of table that would add interest & charm to any room.
