I recently purchased a Trunk from a World War II Veterans Estate...This Veteran had served in Guam during the War in the Pacific during World War II stationed at Agat Guam and he had also been stationed in Hawaii..This Honorable Veteran had been into the Special Services in the Navy on July 31,1943...Veteran was in the U.S.Navy Seabees.. During World War II, Japan occupied Guam from 1941-44 ..During the Battle of Guam in 1944, Agat was one of two landing sites for U.S. Marines..After capturing Guam, The U.S. Military constructed a new residential community for Guam Residents made homeless by the War...This Veteran had served in combat during the 1944 battle of Guam and also stayed for the Re-Construction....I will be listing Scrapbooks and Original Photos that were "passed by Naval Censor-and weren't to be used for Publication"...Some of these are very graphic but do show true history... Here is a V-MAIL (short for Victory Mail) - A V-Mail letter would be censored, copied to film and printed back to paper upon arrival at its destination... This is stamped "Passed by Naval Censor" January 29, 1945 from 109th Naval Construction.
