AUTHENTIC MAINE VINTAGE 1930'S GRANDMOTHER'S FLOWER GARDEN QUILT~SUMMER WEIGHT~116 'GRANDMOTHER'S FLOWERS' comprised of 1930's Floral Cotton Feedsack , 1930's Printed Cottons & 1930's Solid Cottons~Background is Off White Cotton with Pastel Peach Cotton Fine Linenweave Texture Edging, Top Border & Backing~Scalloped Edges; except top edge is straight~Each "Flower" Measures 8-1/2" X 7-1/2" each & comprised of 19 Small Cotton Octagonals~All small 6 sided shapes have been sewn by hand to create design~All Sewn by Hand ie 9 stitches per inch , but edging to the backing is sewn by period sewing machine back in the 1930's~IN AS FOUND USED VINTAGE CONDTION~Purchased recently from a Downeast Maine estate sale Measurements are 95" - 99" x 81" - 84"~Measurements taken flat~Please check against your own or similar item as no returns NOTE IN AS FOUND VINTAGE UNCLEANED USED ESTATE CONDITION with some Damage~Quilt has been laundered in the past, so colors might be ever so soft ie fading, but still fairly bright~NOTE: 8" x 4" section missing/torn of 2 flowers & backing to almost mid-left side with 2-1/2" line torn to 1 flower~1" tear hole thru both top & backing on purple flower past middle towards end of quilt~3-3/4" tear mostly along hand sewn seams to backing & red flower lower part near right side~2" are missing on top near left corner near
