A beautifully detailed horse's head,complete with flowing mane and halter, mounted on a penshell inlaid base. The sculpture ispresented in a beautiful verdigris patina finish. A classic Maitland Smith leather shade with gold tooling and gold marbleized lining is included. This handsome and rare sculptural lamp was designed and handcrafted by Maitland Smith of High Point, NC. Maitland Smith is a very high-end designer, maker and seller of luxury case goods and accessories known worldwide. This lamp is a fine example of their craftsmanship! It is showroom fresh, like new. This lamp measures approximately: 24 inches high overall; The horse head and its verdigris pedestal measures 6.5 inches high; the penshell base is 6.5 inches high and 6.75 inches square. The shade is approximately: 6 inches tall; 3.75 inches in diameter at top and 8 inches at bottom. The lamp and shade weigh about 10 pounds. We pack carefully and ship promptly. SHIPPING DETAILS: To avoid damaging the expensive, almost impossible to replace original shade, this lamp may be shipped in two boxes depending on the advice of our shipper .
