Whens the last time you saw one of these listed? Well I have this one AND one with the alternate color scheme in another auction! These are very tough to find, it's a piece that was only released for one year in the mid 90's by Majorette (TCR in Europe) and I think they were only available in Canada. The bodystyle is based on a mid-90's Chevy Silverado extra cab stepside. Again, these dont come along often and your slotcar collection just isnt complete without one of these especially if you collect Ideal TCR or Majorette. It comes on a used running Majorette chassis, could use rear tires but otherwise in good shape. If youre not familiar with them, the design has a little in common with the Tomy Turbo and Marchon MR-1 particularly the motor--see the pics for reference. Left bone stock, the guide pin is a bit too thick to work on standard Tyco, Lifelike, or Tomy AFX type track but this has had the stock pin removed and a T-jet pin swapped onto it allowing it to run on the more common type of track. The body uses the same snap on mounts as Ideal TCR MK2, MK3 and MK4 slotless chassis as well as the standard Ideal slotted chassis used on the Knight Rider and Dukes of Hazard set cars.
