This is a green and white postcard of Makassar , Celebes (= Sulawesi ), Indonesia . It shows a beautiful view of a native Kampong. This postcard was published by Brugman & Kösterich in the period 1906-1919. So it is about 95 years OLD . This postcard is shown in the book INDONESIA 500 Early Postcards by Leo Haks and Steven Wachlin on page 254. The publisher’s code is 6576. However some cornerwear it does not affect the subject (see scan) and it is still a great collectable. Condition: good. This postcard should be in every Celebes/Sulawesi Indonesian collection.
