Makers Mark 2011 Ambassador Bottle SIGNED x2 + *RARE* Signed by Bill AND Rob Samuels! Very Rare! NR!!!!! NO RESERVE!!!!! This is an EXTREMELY rare 2011 Maker's Mark Ambassador Bottle from the 10th Annual Thoroughbreds and Redheads weekend at the distillery! This bottle was only available for Maker's Mark Ambassadors on April 16, 2011 at the Distillery in Loretto, KY. It has been signed by both Bill Samuels (this was the day after he retired!) and Rob Samuels (the NEW President of Maker's Mark, and Bill's son). There will bo no more Ambassador's Thoroughbreds and Redheads days at the distillery, and Bill is now retired, so this is the last Ambassador bottle to be issued, and one of only a VERY few signed by both Samuels!!! This bottle has the likeness of Bill Samuels on the front, in honor of his retirement the day before. "This special commemorative bottle honors the life and work of Bill Samuels, Jr. Since 1975 Bill has been Maker's Mark's President, Big Dipper and Ambassador-at-Large, telling the world about our handmade bourbon. Yet all the time he was racking up frequent flyer miles and meeting assorted bigwigs, he never forgot the words of his father, Maker's Mark creator Bill Samuels, Sr.: "Son, don't screw up the whisky." We're pleased to say that for 30-some years, he hasn't. We're sure his mom and dad would be proud. read more
