Mammoth # 2 Standard Globe Incandescent Store Oil Lamp This is a Large Store Lamp made by Standard Lighting Company it is called the Number 2 Globe-Incandescent Lamp made around 1880 to 1890. The shade is stamped what looks like Raymond 816s and something else I can't make out. The lamp is wonderful with a large 20" original tin shade and a great gauge needle on the font to tell how full it is. Now this lamp is not perfect it has a few dents I believe it also has the wrong flame spreader and t are a few crack lines in the burner, and it has no chimney. I filled it with water and it did not leak but I did not have enough oil to fill the large font to check it for leaks with oil. T is an issue on the bottom foot on the font that I am not sure about ? I have not seen one of these before now so the foot is a mystery to me! I took pictures of the bottom because of this. T is a wick and the wick riser moves great The lamp hangs 34" from top hook to bottom of font the font is around 11 1/4" tall and 9" wide the shade is 20". The lamp will need to be shipped in two different boxes because of the size one for the font and one for shade and frame, the lamp weighs 5.12 pounds. Thank you for your interest!
