Light marking to page edges. Very solid binding. Clean text throughout. Illustrated. Recounts the author's experiences whilst overseeing the construction of a railway bridge in Kenya, and the hunting of two man eating lions. The book was the inspiration for the 1996 Michael Douglas/Val Kilmer film The Ghost and the Darkness. An excellent example.
