This auction is for one Patton Life Raft as described below. It is New Military Surplus and comes in the original shipping box. It DOES NOT include the Co2 cartridge but may be inflated manually. This is an extremely rare find, especially in this condition. This would be a great addition on your boat, airplane or anywhere you need an emergency life raft. Overview The LRU-1/LRU-13 Life Raft Assembly is used by air crewman in the event of an emergency. Description The LRU-1/P Life Raft Assembly is a seven-man raft. The Life Raft is made up of a two-compartment main tube; an inflatable seat attached to the main tube; a non-inflatable floor attached to the bottom of the main tube and inflatable seat; and a sea anchor which is used to retard drifting. A lifeline, rope ladder, supply pocket and a combination supply pocket and bailer are attached to the main tube. Boarding handles are attached to the main tube and the floor and righting handles are attached to the underside of the floor. Emergency survival equipment and raft accessories, stowed in accessory containers, are provided for the safety and survival of the aircrew members.
